Today for the twelve days of Christmas, let’s see how they celebrate in China.

Christmas in China is a day to celebrate friends and family by leaving the house to have a good time. Some people even treat it like a romantic holiday, similar to Valentine’s Day. China also practices the unique tradition of giving apples for Christmas Eve because of the similarities between the word for “apple” and “Christmas Eve” in Mandarin.

Tonight the girls and boys swimming and diving team has a meet at Walkersville high school. They will be going up against Tuscarora. Be there at 6!

Do you love the Grinch? Would you like to watch the classic animated version next Thursday during PREP? All you have to do to get a ticket to attend is donate a new toy to our Toy Drive. New toys and books will be collected Monday through Wednesday next week for the annual Quentin Ingram toy drive.  These books and toys will be sent for children to use in the pediatric wards at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Turn in your toy to the table at lunch and get a Grinch Ticket in return. See Mr. Brown with any questions.
