The Linganore Performing Arts Department has been hard at work getting ready for the spring musical, Footloose. Tickets will be on sale for students starting Monday, April 16th during all lunch shifts. The price for student admission is $5. Show dates and times are April 26th, 27th, and 28th at 7 pm with matinee shows on the 28th and 29th at 2 PM. See Mrs. Smithhisler with any questions.

Can’t wait for the LHS Production? To get even more excited about Footloose the musical on April 26-29, the Drama Club is hosting a free viewing of the original 1984 Kevin Bacon film version this Sunday, April 22nd at 2 PM in the auditorium. It is absolutely free, and popcorn will be available for purchase. Don’t miss this movie on the big screen!

The Linganore High School Pom and Dance team will be holding tryouts from April 25th to the 28th in the Cafeteria after school from 3:30-5:30 as well as on April 29th 8-1.  For additional information please see Mrs. Richardson in room A219.

Here are the class election results thank you to those who took part of the democratic process. Congratulations to class of 2021 president Brandon Neuman, class of 2020 president Emily Webb, Class of 2019 president Shay Arneson, and SGA president Dominic Barbagallo.

Girls and Boys Varsity Tennis Teams played Walkersville on Friday. Unfortunately neither team won. They are set to play Frederick High at home today at 4. Good Luck Lancers!

Varsity Softball had a close game against Walkersville on Friday, but the final score was 5 to 6 in the end. Hopefully the team has better luck playing Frederick tonight here at LHS.

Varsity Baseball also played Walkersville with a final score 3 to 22. The Baseball team will play Frederick at Linganore tonight starting at 4:30. Hope you pull out a win guys.

 JV Softball and Baseball played North Hagerstown on Saturday. JV Baseball lost their game 3 to 5 while JV Softball won 27 to 3. Great job everyone.
