Linganores robotics team, Bovine Intervention, competed Saturday the 22nd at McDonogh School for an event called Battle of Baltimore. The team competed against 28 teams from the Maryland-Virginia area. They placed 2nd in qualifications and went on to become a 2nd place finalist. Congratulations to all the hard working team members, and good luck on your upcoming season!

Are you bored and want to do something fun this weekend? Annie is playing at the Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre Friday and Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 12:30pm, Friday and Sunday it costs $46 dollars for the show and buffet, Saturday it costs $50 dollars for the show and buffet.

This week marks the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. We will be recognizing those of Hispanic descent who have accomplished amazing things during their lifetime. Today we will be recognizing ​​Carlos Finlay. Finlay is a Cuban epidemiologist who had helped solve the mystery of the yellow fever.

Homecoming tickets are available starting today during lunch in main street. They will only be on sale till the 28th. Tickets are 20 dollars.

The Poll of the week this week is Favorite Nintendo Game. The poll results will be announced on Friday. You can vote online by visiting the LHS Journalism Twitter.

Last Friday the linganore lancer football team played against Thomas Johnson High school, winning with a score of 57-13. With standout plays from Nick Hayslett and Joey Felton. Great job Lancers!
