On October 11, the Class of 2018 gathered in the auditorium for a meeting to review graduation information and expectations. This meeting was made entertaining thanks to the inclusion a fashion show by some members of the class such as Tommy Moyer, and bingo games and raffle prizes by Mr. Jeremy Brown, senior class co-advisor. Senior Allison King won one of the raffle prizes, which was a tiara.

Brown reviewed graduation requirements, dress codes, and other important information for all of those who plan to graduate in May 2018. They also discussed Safe and Sane, a celebration for seniors which occurs after graduation.

The senior class also received information regarding ordering their caps and gowns. They gathered for a group picture in the gym and reviewed dates of important events.

Cameron White, a member of the Class of 2018, said, “I really enjoyed aspects of the meeting such as the prizes and the fashion show, which demonstrated the do’s and don’ts of graduation clothing.”

For any students who may have missed the meeting, a form with the information discussed during the meeting can be found here.

During the 2-hour meeting, much of the underclassmen were taking the PSAT.

The final day of school for seniors is May 22nd, and graduation practices begin on May 25th. Students who graduate will walk on May 30th.
