On November 2, students participated in Class Color Day in an attempt to earn points for their class to win the spirit stick. The Class of 2021 wore red; the Class of 2020 wore yellow; the Class of 2019 wore blue, and the Class of 2018 wore tie dye. There has been a significant amount of participation this year school-wide in spirit week, making for a close competition. Friday will be Red Black and Bow day, where students wear as many bows as possible to be counted for points towards their class.

“I think underclassmen stepped up their spirit and participated more this year than previous years,” said SGA President Jack DuBro.

Friday is a day full of decisions. The pep rally will take place first thing in the morning where the classes will fight one last time in an attempt to win the spirit stick.

Friday evening, November 4, Linganore’s homecoming game will be against Urbana, where the homecoming king and queen will be announced.

The homecoming court will walk onto the field during half time dressed in nice attire to await the announcement for the homecoming King and Queen for each class. The homecoming court will also appear at the homecoming dance on Saturday night.

Fight for your class to win one last time tomorrow! Wear red and black clothing with as many bows possible to earn points.
