The CEA (Civil Engineering and Architecture) class is tackling the architecture portion with their first project in which each student is exploring a different architectural style. CEA is the fourth out of five classes in the Project Lead The Way program.

The task given to the students was to create both a slideshow about the chosen style and create a model of a home in that style.

There are 24 different styles, ranging from Victorian to Contemporary, and each was presented to the class as a way for the students to teach each other about architectural history.

Joey Hall, who chose to do his project on Tudor style houses, said, “I built the Tudor house last year for AED and loved the design.”

The Tudor style is unique because of its steep roofs and half timbering.

“My favorite part about the project was probably building [the model],” Hall added.
