On Saturday the Marching Band hosted a competition here at Linganore. Linganore debuted their full ‘Pure Imagination’ show. You can see it in action at Thursday’s football game.

Towson will be hosting a “Music Major for a Day” event on Monday, October 9th. If you would like to spend a day with a music major to see what it’s like, see Mr. Lloyd in room D105 for more information.  

Interested in architecture, construction, or engineering? Applications for the ACE mentor program are due this Friday, the 29th. Please see the link below to register, or for more information.

Rho Kappa, the social studies Honor Society, is accepting applications online at the link below. Submissions must be in by this friday. For additional information please see Mrs. Richardson or Mr. Burch.

Interested in applying to Mu Alpha Theta, The Math National Honor Society? Pick up an application outside of Mrs. Purgason’s room in A140. Applications are due this Friday.

Sophomores, If you are interested in purchasing a class of 2020 ring be sure to bring your order form and associated payment with you to lunch Thursday and Friday.

Tomorrow morning is the “See You at the Pole” prayer event at LHS. Join the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the flagpole by 7 AM to pray for our school, community, and nation.

Members of the Science National Honor Society and AP Environmental Science students are reminded to turn in their field trip forms and payment to Mr. Sunkel in Room A139 by tomorrow.

Girls JV and Varsity soccer both played Oakdale last night as well. JV lost 0-5 while Varsity tied with a score 1-1. Better luck next time Lancers.

Boys JV and Varsity soccer both lost to Oakdale last night. Scores for both teams were 0-3.  

Last night, Linganore JV and Varsity Volleyball lost to Oakdale. JV lost 1-2 and Varsity lost 2-3.

Finally, the LHS golf team faced off against Frederick yesterday and won with a score of 174 to 216. Great job Linganore.
