The Science National Honor Society will have their 3rd workday at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary this Saturday, November 4th from 9 am to 12 noon. Members are reminded to bring work gloves, hand saws, pruners, and loppers.

Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia will be hosting its annual Mid-Atlantic Honor Band Festival from January 19th to the 21st. If you are interested in being nominated for this group, please sign up in the band room or see Mr. Lloyd for more information.

The 2017-2018 mock trial team will hold informational and planning meetings today and next Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:30 in Room A213. Want to learn more? Are you a fan of trivia games? Do you like watching Jeopardy? Do you enjoy playing QuizUp or Trivia Crack? The LHS Academic Team is a group of students who compete against students from other schools in a team trivia tournament, and they’re looking for new members. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 7th from 2:30 to 4:00 in Mr. Hahn’s room, C102. All interested students are welcome.

Tomorrow is Red, Black, and Bow day. Come to school wearing these colors and bows to show your school spirit! Make sure you participate to support your class.

JV Football won their last game of the season 14-6 last night against Urbana. Great job, Lancers!

Girls Varsity Soccer is playing TJ tonight at 6 for their second playoff game. If they win they will play the winner of the Westminster vs Blake game. Let’s roll, Girls!

Girls Varsity Volleyball is also playing at home at 6 against South Hagerstown. Come out and support team!

Girls and Boys Cross Country are at regionals and are running at Watkins Mill High School at 3. Good luck, runners!
