Pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed to seniors during the Senior Picnic on Monday, May 15th, during fourth block.  Yearbooks will be available for seniors to purchase, on that day only, for $80 cash.  Otherwise, seniors can pick up or purchase a yearbook after May 15th, in room A206, before or after school, or during first or third blocks.  Underclass pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed during lunch on Friday, June 2nd.  Extra yearbooks will be available for purchase, on a first come basis, on Thursday, June 1st, starting at 2:15 pm, in room A206, for $80 cash or check made payable to LHS.

Monday, May 8th, is the application deadline for you to apply for the Ken Doyle Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the LHS Sports Boosters.  If you played a Varsity sport, you are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship. Two scholarships will be awarded to one senior girl and one senior boy. For an application, go to Naviance and look for the Ken Doyle Memorial Athletes Scholarship.  Make sure you turn your application into Student Services by Monday, May 8th.  The award winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 30th, at the Senior Salute.

During every lunch shift, the SGA has a donation box at the front of the cafeteria for the American Cancer Society’s ‘Relay for Life’.  For every dollar that is donated, each person receives a chance to win two Shawn Mendes tickets!  You have until Friday, May 12th, to donate.

Guest forms for Prom are due to Ms. Larson today!  Remember that non-Linganore guests must bring a photo ID to prom.

The journalism class is hosting a contest for seniors to win concert tickets!  Come to room C203 and answer 17 questions for the Class of 2017 with the theme of, “Oh, the places you’ll go!”  The winner will be announced during the senior picnic.

The NHS basketball game has been moved to today. Admission is two canned food items and the game starts at 6:00 pm.

Last night, the girls softball team beat Urbana 23-6.

The JV boys lacrosse team beat TJ 16-0.

The boys lacrosse CMC Championships are tomorrow at 4:00 pm at Hood College. Come out and support the Lancers as they take on Urbana.
