Do you have STAR talent? The National Honor Society is looking for some talented Lancers for this year’s talent show. Talent Show auditions will be held today in the drama room D101. All talents are welcome. Please come prepared with your music, instruments, or any props. There will be a practice after school on Thursday, March 10th, for those competing. FCPS and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce are working together on a young entrepreneur program called Startup Frederick. If you are interested in this program, please see either Ms. Beachy or Mrs. Radil-Harris, immediately. The online application deadline is Friday, March 4th.
The Mr. Linganore contest is this Saturday, March 5th. It starts at 7:00 pm. Buy tickets in advance for $8.00 dollars. Tickets will be $10.00 at the door.
Attention all ceramic students: Mrs. Geisser wants all semester one students to pick up their finished works from last semester. Be sure to get them this week, otherwise they will be thrown out.
The University of Maryland’s Clark School of Engineering has identified Linganore as one of their top 25 engineering source schools. Linganore was the only Frederick County school to be identified.

Last night, our girls’ Varsity basketball team defeated TJ with a score of 53 to 47. Caroline Ward was the leading scorer with 15 points. Great job, Lancers!
