Girls varsity soccer lost last week to Urbana, but came back by beating TJ 5-3 in competition on September 22.. Thomas Johnson girls soccer was undefeated, but after last night they take their first loss.

Throughout the game, the girls were staying strong. At half time, Linganore was beating TJ 4-2. Attacker Miranda Keaton had an excellent night, scoring three of the five goals during the game. Fiona Rowen and Miranda Timberlake each scored one goal

Senior Brandon Cooper said “The girls team is looking good this year. I think they’re going to do great, and I can’t wait to see how this season goes.”

Next week Linganore takes on Tuscarora on September 27 at home.
