Linganore seniors and families: There is going to be a FAFSA completion event Saturday, February 13th. It will be held at Hood College between 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. Financial Aid staff will be available to assist all college-bound students with FAFSA completion and will be available to answer any questions for students and their families. It is encouraged to read the “What to Bring” page of the website, prior to the event. Visit their website to register at www.hood.edu/visit.

An engineering innovation program is being offered this summer at colleges in Maryland. In this intense course, you have the potential to earn up to three credits from Johns Hopkins University. To take this course, you must have taken these classes: Algebra 2, a Lab Science, Trigonometry or learned trig functions from other math classes, and you must have A’s and B’s. Online applications are being accepted today! For more information, see Mr. Greene in room C105.

Today is the last day Schedule Change Request forms will be accepted.

Wednesday, February 3rd, was National Signing Day for high school athletes who signed their “Letter of Intent” to play sports in college. Here is a list of the athletes who signed yesterday: Montanna Hill, Hannah Hoeffs, Elizabeth Colletti, Daniel Ross, Emma Roerty, Justin Knott, Tyler Fleagle, Nathaniel Musselman, Wade Stieren, Dante Butler, Jack Staub, and Matt DeMember.
