There will be no ELO after school tutoring for Government this Thursday, October 13th.  ELO will resume at its regular time on Tuesday, October 18th.

The French Honor Society is holding their third art competition to celebrate French Week in November. You can submit 2D pieces, 3D pieces and photography. All entries should either be inspired by a French artist or show some sort of French art technique. Please submit all entries to Madame Blonder in room C221 by Tuesday, November 1st.  Winners will receive a prize and have their work showcased during French week.

Congratulations to the following students who were juried into the Scholastics 144 exhibition at Shippensburg University:  Kennedy Todd, Sara Bennett, Danielle Brough, Rachel Movaransky, Allison Eckloff, Brianna Bovin, Alyssa  Lewis, Michaela Metcalf, Nicole Donohue and Elise Fenstermacher.  The opening reception and awards will be announced on Saturday, November 5th.

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded of this Saturday’s work day at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.  Students are reminded to bring hand saws, pruners, work gloves, and to wear work shoes.  Directions are located outside of room A139.

Mock trial will have its first meeting in room A213 after school today from 2:30-3:30 pm.

Now for sports related news…

Last night, the girls’ soccer team won over Walkersville with a score of 2-0.  Boys also won 4-2.

The volleyball team also beat Walkersville with a score of 3-0.
