Are you a leader, collaborator and planner? Check out the FCPS Summer Environmental Leadership Experience! Two credits will be earned in leadership, service learning and journalism. Informational flyers are in the Counseling Office, or visit the “News and Events” tab on the Virtual School website. Applications are due Friday, May 13th.

Attention juniors: If you requested work-study as part of next year’s schedule, you will be receiving a pass today to attend a meeting on Monday. If you did not request work-study for next year, but are interested in learning more about this opportunity, stop by room C103 today to get a pass to attend the meeting.

Attention sophomores and juniors: If you requested a mentor/internship as part of next year’s schedule, you will be receiving a pass to attend a meeting on Tuesday. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, but did not request it for your schedule, stop by room C103 to get a pass for the meeting.

A friendly reminder that Prom is tomorrow, Saturday, May 7th, at the Holiday Inn near FSK mall. It starts at 8:00 pm. Any non-LHS guest needs to bring a photo ID to get in.

SGA will be selling purple feet at all lunch shifts for $1.00 each, along with the luminaries for $5.00 each, for Relay for Life. The feet will have the names of loved ones who have been affected by cancer. The goal is to raise $2,000 to help families affected by cancer. Help them out with this great cause.

Seniors only have 12 more days of school left!

Varsity lacrosse takes on Oakdale tomorrow at Hood College for the CMC Championship. The game starts at 1:15 pm. Come out and support the squad as they play for the County Championship.

Varsity baseball had a tough loss against Catoctin last night.

Varsity softball beat TJ last night with a score of 16-5. Great win, Lancers!
