UMD is hosting a “Developing Revolutionary Engineers and Mentors” conference for young women interested in a career in engineering. The conference is free and includes lunch. One adult may accompany each student. Both adults and students must pre-register. The conference is on Saturday, February 25th, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Adele H. The UMBC Center for Women in Technology is accepting applications from high school junior girls interested in finding out more about the fields of engineering and IT. This year, we are excited that we will be able to invite about 35 students to attend the “Bits & Bytes” program to encourage and support women to be leaders in information technology and engineering fields.  Please see Mr. Greene in room C105 for additional information.
