The Career and Technology Center has opened shadowing for Carpentry, Electricity, Landscaping, Plumbing, Auto Body, and Culinary Arts. Stop by Student Services to sign-up for a shadow. See your school counselor, if you have any questions.

Students cannot park in the lot above the stadium lot. You will receive a $20 ticket, if you park there. This is for staff parking and bus parking only. Thank you for your cooperation.

Attention Dual Enrollment Students: All students who previously returned a ‘Permission to Test’ form to Student Services have been placed on the Accuplacer testing roster for Tuesday, April 19th. Testing rosters will be posted on Main Street outside of the Assistant Principal’s office. Students taking the Accuplacer exam should report directly to the assigned computer lab no later than 7:30 am on April 19th. Students who requested MA 207 will be taking the math portion of the Accuplacer and should be sure to bring a calculator to the test.

Advanced Placement students who have registered to take an advanced placement exam must attend one of the two pre-administration sessions after school in the cafeteria on either Wednesday, April 20th, or Thursday, April 21st, from 2:30 pm – 3:10 pm. Students whose last names begin with A-M should attend on April 20th, and students with last names beginning with N-Z should attend on April 21st. Please bring a number two pencil to the session.

The class of 2017 is holding a fundraiser at the Mt. Airy and Frederick Jersey Mike’s locations on April 13th, 20th, and 27th. Fifteen percent of all proceeds come back to Linganore to help support this year’s prom. Bring a flyer when you order to make sure the money comes back to our school. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the Varsity softball team for their win over TJ with a score of 22-7.

The boys’ and girls’ tennis teams won their matches against TJ this past Monday. Great job, Lancers! The girls’ Varsity tennis team beat TJ by the match score of 4-1 and the boys’ Varsity tennis team won by the match score of 5-0.

The Varsity baseball team won 2-1 against TJ. Congratulations!

The girls’ Varsity lacrosse team lost to Tuscarora in overtime; however the JV team won 8-7. Great job, Lancers!
