For the Homecoming game, the Varsity football team took on the Thomas Wootton Patriots in what was a statement victory. The Lancers coasted to a 50-o win, with all 50 of their points coming before halftime.

Senior Dante Butler rushed for 129 yards and four touchdowns, while fellow Senior Nathaniel Musselman was 7-11 passing for 134 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Butler’s younger brother, freshman Davon Butler, also rushed for a score.

“We played well, but there are still things to improve,” said Senior Tyler Fleagle. “It was a good team win overall.”

The Lancers improve to 7-0 on the season and continue their campaign toward the Class 3A State Championship.
