On Tuesday, March 31, Linganore hosted the choral adjudication, in which schools across the county came and performed their pieces for a panel of judges.

LHS had two groups represented: Concert Choir and Vocal Ensemble. The Concert Choir sang “An Afro Celtic Diddle” as a warm up and “A Gaelic Blessing” and “Plenty Good Room” as their performance pieces; while the Vocal Ensemble performed, “O Occhi Manza Mia” as a warm up and “Barter” and “Johnny Said, ‘No!'” as their performance pieces.

Senior Amy Safsten of the Vocal Ensemble said, ” With a new group of people and all the snow days, we worked hard and did a good job.”

The Concert Choir received a 2 overall, and the Vocal Ensemble received a high score with an overall 1.  Both groups are now preparing for the Hersheypark Spring Choral festival on May 16, and the LHS choir concert on May 18.
