Review session #3 for the AP Environmental Science National Exam will be held today after school in Room A139 at 2:20 p.m.

There will be no Bocce Ball practice today.

Did you know that Linganore offers free SAT Prep Sessions? Registration is not required.  Just show up to prepare yourself for the March 8, May 3, or June 7 tests. SAT Verbal Prep is  this Saturday, February 22, from 9am to 11:30am.

This week is national FFA week. Help the Linganore FFA celebrate by participating in their very own spirit week. Today a lot of people are wearing Blue & Gold to show their support. Don’t forget! Tomorrow is camo day. It is also Agriculture week at the mall, and several members of the Linganore Chapter will be there representing our school.

Another way to show your support is by participating in The Linganore FFA Kiss-the-Goat contest! Starting today, you can donate spare change to the table set up at lunch to support your favorite teacher. After a week, the teacher with the most donations will get to kiss a goat! All proceeds will be donated to the family of TJ Rufty, a student at Middletown High. TJ was previously diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma but is ready to come home. So don’t forget to bring your spare change at lunch all next week!

Come out TONIGHT to support the Boy’s Varsity Basketball team’s senior night held right here in our main gym at 6:45 pm. It will be the FINAL home Boys Basketball Game.  JV starts at 5:30, while varsity’s on at 7:00.  We will be recognizing the 5 Senior boy basketball players, along with 2 senior cheerleaders, about 10 minutes prior to tip-off of the varsity game.

It’s time for Linganore to show its true spirit. Until Friday, we are participating in the Quarters for Cancer contest at LHS. The contest is a part of the efforts to raise funds for the Frederick Relay for Life. Many county high schools are part of the contest and the school collecting the highest donation will win a DJ party from Key 103/The Eagle radio station. All donations are encouraged- fill the buckets at lunch.
