Happy Flannel day! Remember that anyone who participates in spirit week activities can fill out a ticket at lunch to win cool prizes such as gift cards, LHS gear, Prom Tickets, and Mr. LHS tickets. The rest of the weeks spirit days are as follows: Thursday is Team USA day, and Friday is Red, Black, and Pink day.

Don’t forget! Auditions for the NHS Talent Show are being held TOMORROW, February 13th, in the auditorium after school. However, there is a SNOW DATE for Wednesday, February 19th at 2:30pm in the LHS auditorium. Please see Mrs. Sands in room C221 with questions.

The Science National Honor Society will be working at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary this Saturday from 11-4 p.m.

Attention Rho Kappa Officers and those who were newly admitted into Rho Kappa this school year: There will be a mandatory meeting today after school in Mr. Burch’s room A215 to go over proceedings for Thursday Night’s induction ceremony.

Next week is national FFA week. Help the Linganore FFA celebrate by participating in their very own spirit week. Wednesday, February 19th, come dressed in your FFA wear. Thursday is Blue & Gold day, and Friday is Camo day.

Another way to show your support is by participating in The Linganore FFA Kiss-the-Goat contest! Starting next Wednesday, you can donate spare change to the table set up at lunch to support your favorite teacher. After a week, the teacher with the most donations will get to kiss a goat! All proceeds will be donated to the family of TJ Rufty, a student at Middletown High. TJ was previously diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma but is ready to come home. So dont forget to bring your spare change at lunch all next week!

Congratulations to both Girl’s JV and Varisty basketball teams last night in their wins against Tuscarora with varsity scoring 74-64 and JV with 26-16.

The boys and girls indoor track teams competed at the 3 a West regional championships this week. Congratulations to our state qualifiers: Bailey Tregoning, Loren Kozar, Dan Beck , AJ Anderson, Adam Beisser, Dan Beck, Micah Hewitson, Riley Mack and Daniel Lemon. Good luck to all these athletes at the state championships next week.
