For any student who has registered for the AP Polysci exam, please be aware that review sessions are starting. Sessions will be every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 2:20-3:00 in Mrs. Smith’s classroom.

Reminder to all students…  Candidate applications for SGA & Class Council are do to Mr. Brown on Monday. Packets can be picked up outside room C103.  Any questions, please get in touch with Mr. Brown.

Don’t forget to come out the Cinderella’s Closet this weekend at the Walkersville town hall at 21 West Frederick St. in the upper meeting room. All of the items to choose from are new or like new. The sale starts today from 6-9pm, and the doors open at 5:30. Tomorrow, March 29th the doors open at 9:30am, and the sale time is from 10am – 2pm. If you have any questions see Kathy Briske.

We look forward to a successful year of interesting activities and experiences under their able leadership. On an unrelated subject, congratulations to Senor  Daniel Beck for winning the paella (pah eh ya) eating contest at the annual Spanish Honor Society Dinner held at Mariachi Restaurant.  Senor Beck graduates as the undefeated champion.

Linganore High School is putting together a team of volunteers to help clean up the banks of the Monocacy River and Rivermist Park in Frederick on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (rain or shine).  This event is being held in conjunction with the 26th annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup.  If you are interested, see Mr. Sunkel in Room A139 to sign-up.

Listen up class of 2017! Don’t miss out on your chance to order your class spirit wear. The spirit fundraiser has been extended to April 2nd because of all of the crazy weather we’ve had. If you would like to purchase your spirit wear, check out the posters hung around school for how to do so. See Mr. Hines or Ms. Blum for more information or if you have any questions.

The JV Boy’s lacrosse team beat Westminster last night with a final score of 7-2. Great job guys! Both the Girls and Boys Tennis teams lost against Oakdale High School on Thursday. The teams will play at Tuscarora today.
