The Robotics team will be meeting this Monday, November 25th, The meeting will be held in Mr.Bergeron’s room, right after school until 4.

Students who have signed up for the Audubon Society workday this Saturday, November 23rd are reminded that the start and end times have been changed to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Students are encouraged to bring work gloves and pruners.

For students applying to volunteer at the National Aquarium in Baltimore this summer, the applications are due to C103 by December 4.

Just a reminder that all Team Room Lockers in the Girls Locker room must be cleaned out by the end of school on Friday.

Today and tomorrow during all lunch shifts, there will be a table set up in the cafeteria to purchase tickets for the ICE HOCKEY FUNDRAISER next Tuesday, 11/26 at Skate Frederick and Roy Rogers! Go skating anytime between 5:20 pm and 7:10 pm, and then head over to Roy Rogers to grab a bite to eat anytime between 7 and 10pm to raise money for our hockey club. Don’t forget to mention our hockey club or skate Frederick! The cost is 10 dollars a ticket, which includes skate rentals. I Drive Smart, a driver-education company offering classes in our area, has partnered with the LHS Sports Boosters. I Drive Smart employs police officers to provide 100% of their instruction. The I Drive Smart program is extremely safety-oriented and offers a stress-free experience for busy parents, with the ability to register, schedule (and reschedule) all sessions, and complete all required paperwork for the MVA online. For every Linganore student who registers for one of their packages through December 31, 2013, I Drive Smart will donate $25 to the LHS Sports Boosters. The exam registration period for fall and yearlong AP classes will be held the week of December 2-6. Students must return their completed registration form along with the exam fee of $89 per exam to Ms. Smith in the assistant principal’s office. Fee waivers are available for any student who demonstrates financial need. If your family requires assistance with the exam fee, the completed waiver form must be returned with the registration form.

The Lady Lancers club is holding a Cinderella’s closet drive. Drop off any gently used clothes from now until December 3rd at Ms. Ferguson’s office. The clothes will be sold at a discounted price at Lancer Candy Cane Lane on December 7th. The money and any extra clothing will be donated to a local charity.
