The Chipotle in Mount Airy is hosting a fundraiser tonight for the LHS Safe and Sane graduation program. Support the Safe and Sane program by visiting Chipotle tonight between 5pm and 9pm. Mention that you are purchasing on behalf of Linganore High School, and 50% of the proceeds will go to support the group.

Congratulations to the Linganore Varsity field hockey team in their win against Oakdale last night. The team took home another victory with a score of 4 to 0.

The NEHS officers are holding a gently used book drive during the rest of October so that we can have a book sale in November/December to raise money for the Frederick Reading Council. Please bring your gently used books to donate. You can bring them any time between now and October 31. There are blue bins in the main office, the media center, and Mrs. Rebetsky’s room C203.
