The LHS varsity Field Hockey team defeated Brunswick last night with a score of 9 to 0. Great job Lancers!

Just a reminder, the PSAT’s will be administered tomorrow morning for anyone taking them this year. All Sophomores are scheduled to take it. If you still don’t know where your testing location is, locations are posted in the cafeteria, upstairs on the C side of the media center, and two places on Main Street. There are also lists for students who will be displaced if their teacher is proctoring the exam. All students will report to their regular first period for attendance before being directed by an announcement to move to their testing locations. Students should bring #2 pencils and a calculator to testing. The PSAT is designed such that calculators are not required, but they are permitted. Students may not use their cell phones as a calculator, and no calculators will be provided. Seniors: you will report to the auditorium at this time for your senior meeting.

This Thursday is Senior Night for boys soccer. The seniors will be recognized on the field for their accomplishments and contributions to the boys soccer program before they take on Brunswick. The JV game starts at 5:30PM and varsity at 7PM. The team would love to see the fans in their favorite red and black spirit wear.

All day Thursday, October 17th, a photographer will be here at LHS. Any student who was dissatisfied with their original portrait package and wishes to retake their pictures, must hand the old package to the photography staff. Any senior who has still not been photographed should report to the auditorium to have their picture taken if you want to be in the yearbook. Also, any faculty/staff not photographed at the original photo session should report to the auditorium at their convenience.

Yesterday, the LHS Unified Tennis team played in the Frederick County Unified Tennis Tournament. Linganore took 1st place gold medals in each of the three divisions the school competed in.
