Class of 2017: Boys Lacrosse re-laxes with 6 days left of school

by Ethan Hart, Reporter

With their phenomenal season and playoff run still in tact, the seniors of the boys lacrosse team hope to finish their perfect season and their high school careers on a high note with 6 days left in their final year. This year’s cast of seniors includes Will Pelicier, Gaven Sovero, Kyle Browne, Matt and Sam Honchalk, Spencer Young, Anthony Sparacino, Tyler Allnutt, and Michael Boyd.

Sam Honchalk will be attending Appalachian State University next fall. He looks forward to playing recreational sports and participating in club teams and events. His favorite part of being a member of the lacrosse team is the friendships he’s made with his teammates. He will miss the Linganore school spirit the most when he leaves.

Gaven Soverno plans to study civil engineering at Penn State University next year. He will be participating in club lacrosse while he attends. His best advice for underclassmen and future graduates is to do your best every day. He will miss his friends, family, and the lacrosse team when he attends Penn State.

Tyler Allnutt will be attending Goucher University in the fall to study business and play for the lacrosse team. One of his best memories at Linganore was winning the state championship a year ago. He will miss how close the lacrosse team has come together over their time playing together. He advises underclassmen to work their hardest.
