The NHS Talent Show will be held tomorrow at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults.

Students who requested work study or mentor/internship on your schedule next year will receive information after spring break from Mr. Brown and Ms. Radil-Harris about the application process for these programs.

Attention juniors and seniors: Prom tickets are on sale this week, so make sure you don’t have any outstanding obligations.  If you’re unsure, or if you have any questions, please see Mrs. Shapiro in the front office.

Lancer Media will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt throughout Linganore. If you find an Easter egg around the school, open the contents and bring the egg to room C203, where you will receive a prize and be entered into a drawing. It will go on until Spring Break. Happy Hunting!

Senior members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded that their field trip forms and money are due to Mr. Sunkel today.

The LHS Pom and Dance team will be hosting tryouts for the 2017-2018 school year beginning Tuesday, April 25th. For more information, please see Mrs. Richardson in room A219, or visit the Linganore High School webpage.

And now for sports related news…

Congratulations to both the girls and boys Varsity tennis teams for beating T.J. by the score of 5-0.

The softball team beat T.J. 23-2 and the baseball team lost 7-1.

The JV baseball team plays Oakdale tonight. The game starts at 4:30 pm at Oakdale.

The boys lacrosse teams travel to Tuscarora, and the girls teams will be at home. The JV game starts at 5:30 pm and the Varsity game starts at 7:00 pm.

Congratulations to Anthony Sparacino for receiving the FCA Athlete of the Year award for Linganore High School.
