December 1st, the National Art Honor Society students went on a trip to the National Gallery of Art. The bus ride was over an hour away, but it was worth it to see the art.

The Gallery is very big and features works of many famous artists like Van Gogh and Dalí. It is divided in sections such as Modern Art, and the Exhibitions.

The Gallery also has an ice skating rink in their Sculpture Garden, where NAHS students enjoyed trying not to fall.

Senior Caitlin Butler said “I liked this field trip because it gave me some inspiration for my upcoming projects”.
