LHSsees2020: Luke Staley joins Hood’s Class of 2020

Luke Staley plans to start his college education at Hood College this fall.
His major is undecided. He said, “I’m going to see what I like and explore college.”
“They have a really pretty campus,” said Staley. “And my mom graduated from there. She was a heavy lobbyist for me to go to Hood.”
One of Staley’s main goals at Hood is to be valedictorian of his graduating class of 2020.
He has been an avid soccer player for 10 years, and also plans to be on Hood’s soccer team. Staley was on the varsity soccer team this year.
“I’m definitely going to miss my friends,” he said. Staley has been a member of many organizations at Linganore, including NJROTC.
