Boys JV and Varsity Lacrosse took on Frederick High school at home on March 29 and JV won 19-0. Varsity won 20-0.  It was the second game of the season.

As both teams hope to remain undefeated as the season continues. For the past two seasons, the JV and Varsity teams have had undefeated regular seasons and were knocked out in playoffs.

Sophomore JV Captain Jack Watsic said, “I hope to keep an undefeated record for the third season in a row.”

Watsic played on the JV boys squad last year, setting the all-time scoring record of 56 goals in a single season.

Many of the team members have been playing lacrosse since elementary school and will continue to play for Linganore for as long as they can.

For others such as freshman Ryan Capron, this is his first time playing lacrosse for a team.

“I wanted to play lacrosse because it just sounded like a stud sport to play,” said the Capron.

Come and watch the boys JV and Varsity lacrosse teams as they play at 5:30 and 7:00 in the Middletown on March 31th.
