Future Lancers curiously roamed the halls, seeing the next four years of their educational careers. Lead by this year’s SGA members, the eighth graders got a glimpse at some of their future classrooms, teachers and classmates.

The students came from New Market Middle School and then split into groups. SGA members such as Class of 2017 President Jac Medve, Class of 2018 President Jack DuBro, Class of 2019 President Teddy Britton, Class of 2018 Treasurer Tommy Moyer, Parliamentarian Joshua Watson, First Vice President Hank Beiter, Class of 2017 Historian Austin Lohneis, Class of 2019  Vice President Shay Arneson and others helped aid the incoming freshman. Additional SGA officers helped with the experience.

Future Lancer, Rachel Hall is looking forward to all of the new opportunities and classes Linganore has to offer.

Class of 2018 treasurer, Tommy Moyer says his favorite part of today was that he “got to tell incoming freshmen some things about high school that I wish I knew before I got here.”

Moyer’s biggest piece of advice is to try and not stress and to “try your best and get good grades.” Lancer Media can’t wait to see the new freshmen next year. Welcome Class of 2020!
