The most anticipated time of the year for the FFA, students, faculty, and families is December. The annual FFA winter holiday fundraiser ends Thursday, so act now! There are a total of 71 items to choose from, including sandwiches, cookie dough, fruit baskets, and poinsettias.

Customers and the FFA members benefit from this sale. For each completed order form brought in, that salesperson gets a ticket placed in a drawing for $50. The top three salespeople are also awarded. The salesperson in first place receives $50; the second receives $35; and the third receives $15!

The FFA chapter is always successful during this time of the year with the fundraiser, and it is especially known for the annual poinsettia sale. The group sells both red and white poinsettias for only $8. Not only are they beautiful holiday decorations for around the house, but they also make great gifts for family and friends.

Mr. Tom Hawthorne’s horticulture class works hard to make sure that the plants are well taken care of, including watering them and putting them in decorative flower wrapping paper.

Hawthorne said, “We sell around 500 poinsettias every year. We mainly sell the red and white ones, and there’s eight flowers in each pot. They’re just as good as you would get anywhere else.”

To order, contact Mrs. Beachy at [email protected] or Mr. Hawthorne at [email protected]!
