Olivia DuBro almost ruined her own promposal after refusing to visit Joe Calder when he called her up to hang out. Joe had to resort to plan B when he was unsuccessful in his many attempts to persuade her to come to his house.

Trying to buy time before his promposal surprise arrived, Joe told Olivia he had a dentist appointment until 3:30 and asked her to meet him at his home afterward. She simply suggested they hang out another day.

Panicking, Joe had to think on his feet–all four feet. He decided to bring the promposal to her.  He proposed on horseback–a plan that required he trailer the horse to her house.  The horse had the word “Prom” painted on its side.

“I knew something was fishy when my brother called me upstairs to look at a ‘really cool cloud’ outside. When I opened the door, I saw Joe sitting on top of a ginormous horse. I stood there with my mouth hanging open in pure shock,” said Olivia.

Unable to believe her eyes, Olivia walked down her driveway to meet Joe. She asked him how he was riding the horse with a broken arm.

He laughed and answered,”I really don’t know.” When she asked where the horse came from he casually replied, “I know a guy.”  (The horse was on loan from a family friend.)

The couple posed for several pictures both on and off the horse.

Olivia and Joe revealed that, unfortunately, they can’t take the horse to the dance with them.
