Homecoming 2015 was a big hit among the Lancer students!

The Back to the Future theme was ingenious. As students walked in, they saw a sign that said “88 mph,” the speed at which the DeLorean time machine accelerated to in the Back to the Future movie. The sign that said “Welcome to 1985” was an excellent prelude to the bright theme students would next see.

On the dance floor, the SGA had set up a huge pink MTV sign. It was the perfect backdrop to take group pictures.

The DJ from Soundscapes was fantastic. The beat never stopped because he would mash up the end of one song into the beginning of another.

“It (homecoming) was tons of fun,” said Class of 2019 member Alexis Duda. “Even people you didn’t know would come up and dance with you.”

When they weren’t dancing, students were attracted to the vintage arcade games. There were selections such as PacMan, Mrs. PacMan, and more.

Refreshments included some candy and cups of waters.  This was one of the only disappointing aspects of the dance, as there weren’t any filling foods or soft drinks.
