The Math department is encouraging students who signed up for Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra 2 next school year, to participate in a free summer math program called TenMarks.

This summer, you can save lives!  Did you know that every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood?  If you will be 16 years or older by July, you can make a difference in other people’s lives by making a blood donation at our LHS summer blood drive! The drive will be held on July 22^nd and appointments will be available all afternoon. To sign up, see Noah Ismael, Mr. Brown, or any National Honor Society member.

Safe and Sane is having a fundraiser for the Class of 2016 at Chipotle in Mount Airy on June 22nd from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. They would like to make this a big event! Please mark your calendars and tell your friends.  Fifty percent of your order will go toward Linganore’s Safe and Sane!

Any girls interested in playing Fall volleyball should sign up outside Mrs. Ferguson’s office in the PE hallway and pick up summer information.  You need to sign up even if you have played before.
