Underclassmen can pick up their pre-ordered yearbooks during all lunch shifts today. Bring your receipt just in case. Extra yearbooks will be sold June 3rd only after school at room A206 on a first come basis, they will be $70.00 cash.

Today is the final day for Can-struction. The standings from yesterday are Ms. Freimuth in 1st place with 27.3 cans per person, Mr. Lloyd in 2nd place with 11.42 cans per person, Mrs. York in 3rd place with 7.5 cans per person, and Mr. Wright in 4th place with 6.15 cans per person. There will be a final tally, and the winner will be announced at the end of the day.

The 1st Annual LHS Quidditch Tournament was a huge success last night. Thanks to the teams who participated and the leadership of the Harry Potter Alliance, especially Marissa Maze and Corinne DeFrancisci.  Congratulations to the Neville Up team who came in 2nd place and Toon Squad who took home the Golden Snitch.  We can’t wait for next year’s tournament.

This Saturday, Key Club will be holding a carwash fundraiser at the New Market Food Lion from 10 am to 3 pm.  They will be raising money for UNICEF’s Eliminate project. If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, go to Mr. Brown’s room or contact Megan Wilhelm.

Senior band members should return any outstanding uniforms, school instruments, and method books as soon as possible.

Seniors! If you have not yet signed up for this year’s safe and sane, it’s not too late! Forms are available in the front office, and a parent signature is required. Please get them in as soon as you can

Good luck to all of the students competing in the State Track meet today and tomorrow.

Andrea Huston and Courtney Shrider will be competing in the Maryland State Tennis Tournament at the University of Maryland today. Good luck.
