As girls’ soccer prepares for the Maryland 3A State Finals this Thursday, here are your Lady Lancers by the numbers.

The girls ended the regular season with a record of 13-0 and have been able to extend that to 17-0 in the playoffs. This is already an impressive feat, but it becomes even more impressive when the team has 14 shutouts led by senior goalkeeper Rhianna Lapen. Lapen has a .967 save percentage and has stopped 59 of 61 shots on goal.

As for scoring, the girls have seemingly been able to control every game. Their scoring differential for this season: an outstanding 59-3. This is due, in part, to the contributions from forwards Montanna Hill and Elizabeth Coletti. Hill leads the team with 20 goals while Coletti has been the play maker with a team leading 13 assists.

Other contributions have come from captain Mckenzie McCaull who is considered the team’s leader. Sabrina Moxley and Katie Lamb both also have seven assists on the year and Megan Kelly, Danielle Ferris, Meredith Lapen, and Lamb have held down the back line all season.

Come out and see the girls this Thursday at Loyola University at 7:30 against River Hill take home the state final’s trophy.
