On Friday, April 18, 2014 senior Joe Dirndorfer “promposed” to his girlfriend, junior Abi Bladen, with the help of some friends and the ambiance of the fireworks in Magic Kingdom in Disney World. The couple was on the spring break Disney trip with the marching band. The sign says “You be Beauty and I’ll be the Beast PROM?” By coincidence, an instrumental version of “Beauty and the Beast” from the Disney movie of the same title began playing at the exact time of the promposal.
