The LHS Concert Choir attended the Frederick County Choir Adjudication on Wednesday. They received a SUPERIOR rating from the three performance judges and an Excellent rating for Sight Reading. The High School Young Authors Contest is looking for 9th -12th grade students to enter their original short stories, essays, and/or poems to Ms. Cassidy by next Friday, December 13th. All pieces will be judged by grade level and winners will receive recognition, a gift certificate and the chance to be judged at the state level. This is a great opportunity. Applications are available outside of C201 and outside of C203.
Applications are now being accepted for the Social Studies Historical Society, until Friday December 20th. Any Juniors and Seniors who have completed 4 Semesters of Social Studies may apply. You must also have an un-weighted 3.5 GPA in Social Studies courses as well as a 3.25 overall unweighted GPA.
