Key Club is a High School student led organization, which helps serve the community through a variety of different services. They partner with the Kiwanis Club and assist them in projects such as “Eliminate” and “Unicef”. Key Club and Kiwanis are currently trying to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus: a disease caused by unsanitary birthing practices.

When a child or mother gets MNT they suffer from severe pain and sensitivity to light and touch. They have seizures and convulsions and will die within days. Imagine watching your child suffer, and not being able to touch or comfort them, but knowing there was a shot that could have prevented it.

Help support Kiwanis and Key Club by donating any of your spare change at lunch all this week! Look for Key Club members walking around lunch shifts with pumpkins to put your spare change in or donate $2 to get a blue eliminate bracelet. Help be part of the solution to stop this terrible and deadly disease. If you have any questions please contact Lauren Regulinski, Matt Raabe. or Liz Moore.
